vShowcards Profile: Benjamin Timothy Gobey (Director, Writer, Editor and Interviewer)

I started my journey by approaching actors at comic conventions, which later led me to promoting all kinds of artists in the Film, TV and theatre industries and completing over 100 filmed interviews for my series "The BTG Interviews". I directed my first project “This Industry” in January 2024 and my upcoming projects include “Fagins’ Rant”, which explores Dickens’ Fagin after the events of Oliver Twist. The other is ‘The Passerby’, which explores domestic violence towards men and suicide, in support of #mensmentalhealth. I have also written a TV Pilot called “The Festival Scandal” and have asked World Productions to sign on as the production company and for ITV Studios to commission.
