Trending Actors are the profiles with the top 20 most monthly views. They are the first faces seen to anyone visiting vShowcards.com and are promoted many times around the website including inside Casting Professionals profiles.
Search pages and casting submissions are filtered by monthly view counts, meaning those with higher profile views are seen first.
It's very easy to become a Trending Actor, just share your profile links everywhere you can and get your monthly view counts up.
The monthly view counts reset every month, so EVERYONE has a chance.
Casting search results are filtered by the number of vShowcard views.
Each month, every Trending Artist will be posted across our social media.
The Trending Artists view count resets monthly.
Every actor on vShowcards gets 3 profiles they can use to help them target specific roles and get more auditions.
When a Casting Professional sends you an availability request for a role, you will recieve a notification and you can select which profile you want them to see for the casting. If they are casting an action film, seeing you in comedy roles doesn't help them cast you.
Our Multiple Profiles system allows you to target specific roles with different profiles for each genre ensuring they only see what they need to for each role.
If they are casting an action role, you can ensure they only see the relevant stuff they need to cast you by sending your action profile, thus filtering out unnecessary or irrelevant material, allowing them to see you in similar roles to the role being cast, giving you a greater chance of being offered an audition.
It couldn't be easier.
If you confirm you're available, you then choose which of the profiles the Casting Professional gets to see, ie. which headshots, which showreel, which production shots etc.
This allows you to have tailor made profiles for 3 casting types which will make it easier for them to call you for an audition. Take whatever advantage you can!
