Sophie Corrigan-Powell, is an emerging actor and filmmaker based in Dublin, Ireland. She had her directorial debut with the short film Not Guilty, which is set to be released in 2025. As a performer, she starred as the lead in True Voice, a short film that debuted at the Film Network Ireland Fast Fest Film Festival. Most recently, she took on a key role in Chirper, an IADT production slated for release later this year. In addition, she played the lead character in An Ending and a Beginning, directed by award-winning director John Farrelly, which is set for release in Summer 2025.
She graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Drama and Theatre in 2022. While studying, she also attended Bow Street Academy’s six-month part-time course, gaining valuable training in screen acting. Over the course of her career, she has appeared in multiple independent and student short films, further honing her craft. Passionate about storytelling both on screen and behind the camera, she continues to build a dynamic career in the Irish film industry.
