I studied Music and Sound Technology at the University of the Arts London, where I found my love of Film Sound. Since then I now have 10+ years experience working for film, TV and advertising.
As a Sound Recordist, I am able to capture the aural qualities of an environment in its best and simplest form, using up to date equipment & mic techniques to give the viewer the most immersive experience possible.
I am comfortable directing actors and musicians on larger projects, and always try to do so in a relaxed atmosphere which helps achieve a genuine and honest take from the artists. I have now worked on projects of all complexities, and know that with good conceptual planning you will always have fewer challenge moving forward.
I have worked alongside directors on features, documentaries, and short films, and have a number of winning film projects / nominations to my name, most recent ‘Sliding Away’ in the San Francisco short film festival 2022, and ‘Sad Pretty Pictures’ in the Big Fridge Film festival late 2021, and the Doc In A Day Filming Challenge 2020.
