Philippa is a retired Personal Assistant who started acting and modelling in 2022 when she turned 60. She spent 15 years in London, 10 of them working for ITV, before a family move back to Newcastle upon Tyne. In 2025 she was street cast as the Grandma in Sam Fender's music video, 'Remember My Name'. She followed that by playing Dead Nana in the short film, 'Gan Canny', and the mum in a Northumbria University final year film,'Perfectly Fine'. She shot her first commercial for TGA Mobility (ITV3 & Sky Arts), and her first online and brochure publicity for Bernicia Homes. In 2024 she was a Featured SA in the final episode of 'Vera', appeared twice on stage at The Little Theatre, Cleadon in 'The Ghost Train' and 'Ladies Unleashed', as well as playing an elderly lady in a York University Student Film, 'Apricots'. In 2023 she was a Landlady in 'Zulu4Zero' made by Stageright, Newcastle of which she is a member. in 2026 she will appear in the film 'Wenlock Road', also made by Stageright, Newcastle. Philippa is hoping to find more opportunites in TV, Film and Modelling. She is a Licenced Chaperone who has worked for BBC (Dumping Ground,2025) and ITV (I Fought The Law,2024)
